Movie Review

For one of our assignment, we were to watch a movie called Battle Royale and write a review about it.

Battle Royale is a movie that has the same concept as the hunger game we have today. In my opinion I thought the movie wasn’t that entertaining. This is because firstly I thought the characters died too quickly; I also felt they could have died more creatively. The second reason is I thought the world movie revolved around the main characters too much that it got little irritating. 

The only part that I liked was the opening scene, when the girl smiles at the camera. That scene gave me the chills.

If this game existed, and our class was chosen to compete, I think either Bryson or Chris would be the last ones standing as they look strong. On the other hand, the first person to die would probably either Chetrin or Nadia as they look the weakest. I feel that many people in my class may have chosen me as the person who dies first just because I look really tiny, but I got tricks up my sleeves. I am very competitive, so the minute I leave the class onto the playing field, I would be in the ‘every man for himself’ mindset.  Since I am small, have climbed trees and wouldn’t want to kill anyone, I think I would immediately go into hiding. If I were to be attached, I would use my boxing skill to knock someone out, so I would like to get boxing gloves or brass knuckles.

 If fortunately I don’t get caught, I would to hide for the first 2 days and on the 3^rd day use my secret weapon. I would love to get a potion that will give me mortal paralysis or get a bunch of rhododendron which also gives the same effect as a weapon. In conclusion, everyone would think I am died but when the game reaches its end I would have won without killing. But honestly who am I kidding, I would  probably be shot from the back while trying to escape.
